Hi, I hope youre all doing well out there!?

I'm a total newbie to 3d printing.. ive only just gotten my mini a couple of weeks ago.. I bought some wood filament and its totally crap and a waste of money!!

So my question is, can someone recommend a good wood filament brand to me?

Regards

Manny

I have tried wood (bamboo) filament too and it works best with a nozzle of 0.50mm or larger, few or none retractions and constant flow. The fibers tend to clog if the nozzle is too small or the filament is heated for too long in the hot end.

Have a look at my designs on Thingiverse or on PrusaPrinters ;)...

What brand is that bamboo filament that you use?

Same experience for me.  They do have an awesome smell.

I use ColorFabb BambooFill (PLA/PHA) 1.75mm. I'm not sure this filament is still on the marked, but there is a lot of other wood types.

yea ive come across colorfabb a few times... seems like there are a few good ones out there... hatchbox and fillmentum mainly.. but dont seem to be able to get that in the UK which is annoying! ive ordered some "colorfabb woodfill fine" now. So fingers crossed!

Ive returned one of the tianse spools that I had, but ive orded some 0.6mm nozzels to see how that works out now with the remaining spool.

what do you think?
