Top infill beautiful one way, under extruded the other?

Hi All,

Just got my MK3S+ delivered and started using it. I'm getting a strange issue with the top fill, at 0 degrees it's pretty much perfect (even a touch nicer than my Mk2.5S), but the 90 degree top fill looks like it's only 80% extruded. This is the only issue I'm having (apart from a DOA extruder fan 😭 ).

Ideally what I would like to do is be able to set the direction of the top and bottom monotonic infill to 0 degrees regardless, and not be linked to the rectilinear layer beneath! I'm not sure if this is possible yet (Using 2.3.0 rc2), one of the features I enjoyed about simplify. Give us a little more control 🙂 It would be better to be able to set the first layer monotonic at 0 degrees, then rectilinear infill, and the top infill OR ironing also at 0 degrees. I've had some great success with ironing at 0.2mm spacing @ 30mm/s, gives a nice quick surface finish on large components, well worth the extra time.

Cheers 👍
