Support Enforcers now working

Hi, Need help enforcing supports under a sealed off section of a boat hull. I've tried using support enforcer blocks under the section but it doesn't add them after slicing.

Using latest PrusaSlicer

Any idea. I can email the STL if you're able to help.

Thanks

Tim

Stops aren’t really a help as they don’t have your settings in. What you need to do is add your part, do everything you think you need to and then save the project as a 3mf file.  The 3mf contains not just the model files but all your settings etc too. Then you zip up the 3mf and attach it here.

We can then take a look, modify if needed, add modifiers etc and then save the changed file back. You can then download it and take a look at the changes and settings if someone figures out what’s happening.

Thank you for the advice. Attached is the zip containing the 3mf file.

A little known trick with enforcers is they must touch the part where you want them to work.  Then select the support enforcer option in the main dialog.

I've tried making the enforcer block really large to touch everywhere I needed support with no luck. It just refuses to put support under the baffle that I put in the haul. It's like it doesn't recognize an enforcer inside a cavity on the plate.

Would love if someone is able to get it to work and package up the 3mf file and explain how they did it.

Thanks in advance

Try these, one has the block size that you set, the other has full support

Joan, Disregard my last post. The small block file looks good. How did you get the enforcers to work?  Thanks! Tim

Hi Timothy,
First of all I made sure that the enforcer box was tall enough to reach the bulkhead in the hull part

as you can see the enforcer box extends well into the hull and below the build plate. (Iused the tool highlighted in the left hand tool bar

then I changed settings in the support dialogue box, as highlighted below

I hope this helps you,

regards Joan

Joan found it too -- the bulkhead is a bridged object, and you had Don't Support Bridges selected:
