“Scarring” in several different places

Hello-

I printed the print in place iris box ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1817180) last night and overall it turned out really great. Only had to free up a couple of spots with an xacto.

I did notice several spots where the walls had scarring for lack of a better term. They seem like seams between the layers but they’re in a bunch of different locations. Is this expected with this type of print? Are there any tweaks I can do to try to minimize these marks?

Printed on MK3S with the silver PLA provided in the kit. .2 layer quality preset and 20% fill set to gyroid.

Thanks in advance.

Most of what I see are seams.  You can try aligning them, or forcing them to the rear.  Past that, making them invisible is problematic and requires a huge effort to tweak jerk, linearity correction, z-lift and retraction... among other adjustments that affect seam quality.

@tim-m30

Thank you. I’ll play around with the seam aligning options. I had to print another of the same gcode last night, it came out identical, so at least I know it’s consistent!
