running out of filament
if i run out of filament in the middle of print can i just load new filament & it will pick up where it left off?

If your filament sensor is turned on and working then essentially yes. It will stop and prompt you to unload the stub and load new filament, purge till its correct and then on a yes from you will carry on.

however if the end of your filament is bent, then it may not release from the spool, or may jam inside the extruder housing when you try to eject the filament after end detection.
If you can snip the very end of the filament off, to remove a sharply bent end, before the roll is completely empty, the filament sensor is likely to be more successful.
