Printing with PETG
I have seen numerous posts on this topic, here and other fora but time moves on and expertise and experience evolves so I thought I would re-open this topic to hear current thoughts. I have the Prusa i3 MK3S with the replaceable PEI spring steel print sheet, (not the powder coated one). I am concerned to not damage my print sheet from over adherence of PETG and have come across several ideas such as cleaning with Windex, using brow sweat, glue sticks and magigloo. All of them have very mixed results, possibly related to other factors such as the make of filament and settings used.
I would be particularly interested in personal positive experiences including which brand/type of PETG and settings that worked well for you as well any lessons learnt from positive or negative experiences.

No problems here. I use windex and have used it with Hatchbox and AmazonBasics PETG.

glue stick is a safe bet. I use default prusa petg setting with inland petg
I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

I agree with vintabepc - windex does the trick. BUT a word of warning! If you clean the sheet with dishwashing detergant or acetone, follow up with windex if you are going to print PETG. The filament can stick too well without the windex and you caln pull the PEI off the metal.

At the moment I am using nothing for PETG, except my greasy finger. Seems to work well. Not had any issues with adhesion, either too little or too much. But agree with Jerry in that be careful if you have just used acetone on the bed.
I think glue is a pita to use and a bit hit and miss, but others swear by it. On a Mk2 bed I always had to use Windex.
