Printing a battery holder

OK, so built the printer, I3 MK3S, did updates and all calibrations (redoing again now). Worked pretty good for preloaded models. Had a few holes in the triceratops so I was no good.

I DL a battery holder from the files here and am trying to print. Ran through prusa slicer and putting on SD it seems fine until I ran it.

Says (tip size does not match gcode) which I tried to skip and print anyway, crashed. Redid the slice with a diff tip size, but only goes to .3mm and we have a .4mm on the printer, correct? Bypass again after calibration and it will not work. Last time it crashed. Still using the PLA

Shouldn't the prusa slicer support the stock tip? Sure there is a fix for this as I need a bunch of these and want to use PETG.

Oh, is there a search function for here?

Thx

When you installed the Prusa Slicer, did you add you printer with help of wizard?

BTW this is forum section for MINI printer, you may be better off asking in MK3S section.

Move away, no problem and thanks for the answers guys.

I DL the slicer and the MK3S show up in the menu on the right already. Is there a way to add it so my tip matches the GC?

I did print the holder and it came out OK. Learned it must be printed vertical so the overhangs print correct. They are a little rough but there.

Seems the walls are a tad this also, would that be vertical walls in the print settings? Also now see there is a nozzle size there too and it is set to 4mm. If that is true why would the GC say nozzle size is wrong?

Thx again

RE: Printing a battery holder

In the slicer and the printer menu as well  there is a nozzle diameter setup option. Even with MK3S you can selelct other diameter than 0.4. So when you are generating the g-code the slicer adds to the g-code also the nozzle diameter from the slicer setup. Before printing this is checked by printer with the printer diameter nozzle set up   in order to check "nozzle diameter consistency" . that´s all
