Well, what do you suppose let the leg come loose?

Im thinking it has such a small surface area to adhere to the base, maybe its getting knocked loose.

i see the cylinder you created to support the leg, it shows up before I slice... but disappears after. is that normal?

I'm thinking the tape is not allowing it to adhere well, perhaps you should consider adding a brim if you intend to print it on blue tape. I printed directly on the bed and did not have an issue with the leg.

yes the cylinder is a modifier volume, it tells slicer what area I want the changes to be made. if you select the volume or highlight it in the sidebar menu you will see the properties assigned to it. it is only a visual representation of the area effected, and only visible in the preview window it disappears after slicing.

Thanks for the tips.  Makes sense.  Ran PTEG last night and it looks like the leg came loose in the second maybe third layer, but recovered. so the leg is only a tiny bit shorter which will work. Thanks for all the tips, definitely learning a lot.
