RE: Leaving glob balls of PETG on my project

You are welcome to take a look at my previous octoprint install post and install from my github repo.  BUT you will need to follow the instructions, and you will need a pi3b+ or greater in order to use the plugins you will need for leveling.  I would also ask that any questions you may have with it be asked here and not on github.

If it were me, though, I would rewind with bobstro and pay special attention to his advice on LiveZ.  Even if the unit is a year old, get the printer working as if it were "newly build" - then customize and tweak.

Is your printer grinding? Bearings squeaking? Motors smoking?
Step 1) Wash your Steel Sheet
Step 2) Return to Step 1

RE: Leaving glob balls of PETG on my project

This is the dumbest thread I have ever found on this forum. Thank you for wasting the better part of 2 pages arguing about nothing. Everyone involved was at fault, and both parties look ridiculous. Glad this post popped up on my Google search, so I could waste 5 minutes and be no closer to solving my issue. This thread should be taken down.
