Having finish problems

Hello, I have a MK3S with the current firm ware.

I used Fusion 360 to create a simple Mobius strip and export it out as a STL file.

PrusaSlicer 2.2.0 set to Ultra detail and supports Everywhere, the print top side looks pretty good, but still not as good as I would like. The back side has problems.

I am looking for ideas to help make the bottom side better.

Bottom Side

Top Side

Thanks,

Bryan

RE: Having finish problems

Ideas:

If your a very experienced modeler and printer you can model your own supports. (this is what I do and tend to get the best results this way)

If you have experience printing with ABS or ASA you can use one of those materials and do an acetone vapor smoothing. or use Polymakers polysmooth and smooth with IPA. (I've tried both with mixed results but sometimes really good way to go)

Do some post processing, e.g. sanding, filling and paint.

You can try another slicer like Cura, Ideamaker, or Simplify 3d, different slicers handle supports in different ways. (but your still dealing with molten plastic and gravity)

thats all I can think of right now, if anything else comes to mind I'll post it for you.

Good luck
