File Incomplete

PrusaSlicer version 2.1.1+win64

Mk3S built last week

I've run several prints through the printer, and in most cases, they've been OK.  However, I've got  a small number of files (which vary substantially in size) that always give me the File Incomplete message.  If I tell the printer to continue anyway, it sets the target temperatures to zero, and it doesn't tell me how long the print should take.

I've looked through my gcode files, and they all have

M84 ; disable motors
M73 P100 R0
M73 Q100 S0

as the last entry (apart form a stack of lines starting with a semi colon)

I've tried two different SD cards, and the cards are always removed from the machine after using the "eject" command.  I've also checked that there are no odd characters in the files names.

Other prints still work OK, so I'm assuming that it isn't as simple as the printer misreading all files.

From what I've been able to find on Google, I think that covers all the suggestions, so where to go from here ?

RE: File Incomplete

I would take a GCode file that always fails, zip it up, and let one of us take a look at it. Running a 20 hour print might not be too popular though.

Is there any firmware option to "Print" a file without actually printing the file? Kind of a dummy run?

RE: File Incomplete

I'm now completely confused.

I've got two SD cards, and as stated, I was getting the same error which ever card I used.  On card one, the files were at the top level directory, on card two, a couple of levels down.  I moved the files on card two to the top level, and two of those that I was having problems with have printed OK, and the third is currently printing away, no error messages have been seen.

I've done several prints from the sub directory, so I don't think it is as simple as the printer not liking the sub directory.
