Best filament for air distribution elements
Hi,
I would like to print some parts for my air distribution. For example air flow reducing elements and "end" elements. Diameter of parts is around 10 cm.
My question is, what kind of filament is best for this purpose. I am concerned about antibacterial aspect and some kind of leakage micro parts of plastic to air and long term stability and reliability.

I would recommend PLA or PETG - depending on how much sunlight is involved (PETG is more sunlight stable). I would not worry about micro-plastics shedding off of a printed part. The microplastics that FDM printers are famous for happen in two ways that I know of - vapors bitand microscopic bits coming from the head while printing, and the little parts that you throw away after a print.
