bad supppports

I've got this file I'm trying to print that's about 80 mm wide and need support. when prusa slicer makes them it only puts them, on the outer edge resulting in the bottom layers and lower infill being very weak and roopy in most places. Is there anything I can do about this in the slicer settings, or even make customer supports?

Have you tried deselecting "Don't support bridges" under Print Settings -> Support Material?
