bad first layers on support

Hi

I have some difficulties printing 'things in the air'.
I have bought a print file (cuckoo) and because it is too large, I cut it in half.
The legs are well above the printbed, so I am printing support.
However, when I remove the support, the first layers are not good( see pictures).

Print with support.

Print when support is removed.

I have the same issue with other prints that have not a solid base (printing directly on bed, but on support), for instance small ball-like structures, or even a human skull (like the teeth

How can I solve this problem ?

Kind regards
Diederik

Re: bad first layers on support

Only way I try was to change parameter in slicer PE: Print settings -> Support Z material -> Contact Z distance: low it down from 0,15 to 0,1 if it won’t make better then set same parameter to 0. Support will be much harder to get from print but print itself will be fine.

University: MK2S upgraded to MK3 with MMU2.0
Home: MK3
Materials: ABS; ASA; PETG; PET; PLA; Nylon; Nylon Carbon; CPE;
SW: Freecad 0.18; Slicer PE And still generating more troubles than whole forum together.
