I've done some printing with a 0.15mm nozzle. It works, but unless you are printing very fine details, the extra print time is not worth it IMO. In printing 1:100 miniatures, I found 0.25mm to be the sweet spot between printing all the detail present in the STL model and reasonable(ish) print times.  A bed of 1:100 miniatures printed with a 0.25mm nozzle at 0.15mm layer height takes close to 30 hours. Doubling that for no net gain in detail isn't worth it. At some point, it's worth considering a resin printer if you really want fine detail. More notes here.

The challenge is to go as small and detailed as possible without going to resin. Resin can (sometimes) go in a lot more detail but at the cost of

1) its a lot more nasty to print

2) smells and is toxic

3) is more expensive

4) did I mention "toxic", because thats a big one for me.

I am currently printing lego-like bricks (they are not the exact shape like real lego) at about 1/4th the size of real lego. These bricks are very small. Al 2x2 brick is 4x4x2,3mm big 😉 so nozzle size does matter there .

I've printed Lego bricks in PLA using a 0.25mm nozzle. The fit was fine, though ABS is probably a better choice as the PLA can be brittle.

I actually mean these small bricks. thats 25% of an original block or 4x4x4=64 times smaller

Try it out in your slicer to see how well they'll print before starting a print. Are these just scaled down, or is the tolerance maintained even as the part is shrunk? If you want them to be assembled and torn apart like actual Lego blocks, you may want to experiment with different filaments. I'd be worried about the protrusion parts snapping off easily with side pressure.

These parts are 100% custom designed. They are not just shrunk down lego (tried that and works too, but I needed slightly different proportions and mounting on the bottom side).

I DO actually already print these and with 0,25mm they work, but I want to try to even improve their quality since they really are supersmall. They mount well (as you can see in the picture, because each animal is between 170 and 200 pieces and fit nicely.

The protrusions (I think you mean the studs) are 1,2mm diameter and 0,8mm high and don't form a problem.

I'm just looking for people with experience with 0,15 of preferably 0,1mm nozzles just to find out the best print settings. For the rest I'm not a beginner... I already print for 6 years
