Any ideas on this nasty scar (non z-seam)?

I'm having difficulty troubleshooting the scar you see in the photo. It occurs on a sloped cylinder, which I know are difficult to print, but the angle isn't too severe and the scar only occurs on one side (the other side is flawless) so I don't think it's related to the angle? This is PETG, but it also occurs using ABS. Z-seam is set to random. It's almost as if a "divet" was taken out of the side. Is it possible this is underextrusion?

I'm stumped. Any hunches? I'm using PrusaSlicer and printing on an mk3s.

It is an awful small part.  Did you print just the one?

Reslice it and print 3 or 4 of them.  Uncheck "finish one at a time" so that they each get printed layer by layer at the same time.

I think you're dealing with overheating.  Having more instances will move the head away from each part long enough for it to cool so it doesn't sag.

Yep you're correct! I realized the defect was always happening at the rear of the print, no matter how I oriented the part. It seems the cooling in the rear is worse than upfront (makes sense, I suppose, but I was a bit surprised). At 100% fan speed and by printing multiple parts at a time it's significantly improved. Are there any other optimizations I can make that come top of mind, or is this probably as good as I can do without a new duct? Thanks!
