Z-hop inconsistency issue

I've had this issue for quite a while now, when the z-lift happens on retraction, it seems that the height at which it resumes printing differs slightly from the height it finished the last path before the lift, causing some artefacts in first/top layers. Anyone else noticed that? I'm not 100% sure whether it's an issue with Z axis positioning or pressure difference in the nozzle after retraction.

Re: Z-hop inconsistency issue

If I were you I'd try to run a Z calibration to see if that solves the issue.

No, I've been doing full calibration a few times now since I first noticed that, also recently changed the extruder body to the new revision and installed
a new PINDA. This doesn't seem to be conected as it persists before and after those changes.
Perhaps it's just my OCD though.

Re: Z-hop inconsistency issue

It shouldn't be related to the extruder body nor the pinda as neither of those are "used" during a z-hop.
It has more to do with the steps.
If you disable the z-hop does it print ok?
