Z Calibration Failed

Hello, I am a para-educator that was thrown into helping with 3D printing. For months I had the printer working find. Now I got a warning that there was a problem with the Z axis. I tried to run the wizard and it keeps failing. When I set Z to zero it pushes hard on the bed causing one end to raise. The z seems like +5 would work fine? What could cause the error? Is there a way to manually change the Z? How could I fix this problem?

Not sure I'm following your explanation. With "the Z" do you mean the Live Z value? In one sentence you said "I set Z to zero", further down you ask if you can adjust it manually, but if you can set it to zero, you must have figured that out already. I don't mean to be snarky, just trying to understand what you're saying.

Live Z can only be negative, so I'm not sure what +5 means.

As you're seeing the wizard fail, I would start here: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/xyz-calibration-mk3-and-mk3s_112351

and go through the process and troubleshooting laid out in that article.

If that fails, the best way to get help is probably to get on the chat with Prusa Support. Go to shop.prusa3d.com, log in to your account, and look for the chat button in the lower right corner.

I thought I might have been confusing. So when I go to do a Z calibration it fails. When I am at the info screen the Z reads at +5. When I hold the nob down to change z height and set to 0 it is pushing on the bed.

I just recently ran a calibration and the nozzle scratched up a corner of the bed. I will check out the trouble shooting page you sent. I was really tossed into this blind. I had always wanted to try 3d printing but its hard when kids can come into the library at any time and play with stuff when I am not there... It was working fine last week...

PINDA

It sounds like you need to adjust the height of the PINDA. This is in the article that @fuchsr pointed you to.
