Z Axis Calibration Fail

Hi,

If I lower the PINDA sensor, during the calibration process the Z axis lowers the extruder head and the calibration process stops and you get a calibration failed message.  Sensor about 1.5mm off paper.  Just noticed that the extruder is hard on the bed, guessing a bed sensor has triggered the failure.

If you lift the PINDA sensor as per 6.3.10.2, the extruder will start trying to calibrate, i noticed that the bed is being deflected.

The PINDA light is on, but how do you tell whether a signal is coming back from the PINDA to the motherboard.

RE: Z Axis Calibration Fail

just letting you know i had flashed firmware for Mk3S instead of Mk3. After reflashing with correct product firmware, z calibration was fixed.

cheers

RE: Z Axis Calibration Fail

FYI the PINDA light goes out when it senses the steel sheet. LED on = pinda off, LED off = PINDA on / triggered
