strange print error on startup

Hi. I didnt find any articles about this (maybe i didnt search enough)

but my problem is:

when I start a print (even the one stored on the SD card) the printer heats and  loads filament as normal, but there all normal behavior.

instead of starting the normal routine of putting out a small line in front of the print area it hust start to pump out filament into a big "donut" or it lifts the head and pump out filament until i stop the printer

I have checked the filament sensors (IR, Pinda and Finda), all seems to work as expeced, cant see anything wrong

everything was working normally up until a few days ago, I havent changed anything, except the normal updates on octoprint, but they shouldnt interfere with print of demo prints from SD card

my printer is a MK3S with MMU2, I have a pi Zero inside the slot.

I also tried to update firmware on both printer and MMU, no change

any help on solving this would be appreciated

Hello and welcome to the Prusaforum!

Check carefully if both filament sensors (extruder and MMU2) are working properly. You can watch on the LCD how the value switches to 1 when the filament is loaded and returns to 0 when it is unloaded.

All sensors work as expected,

Values change for all sensors

@mmoxnes

I would disable RPI in the LCD menu and print a Prusa demo part. If the behavior is unchanged then a factory reset often helps. But after the FR you have to calibrate again.
