Strange happening ...

Has anyone seen this happen before?

Started a print just after work, was supposed to take 56 minutes. Went to check it and the print head was all the way front and to the right. Printer was beeping every few seconds.

Display said to push to unload filament. No, print was not supposed to have a filament change. So I pressed and the filament unloaded and then said to insert filament, so I did.

Asked me if color was right and I did and then it resumed printing like nothing happened. Anybody know for sure what's going on? I saw no errors.

Tx in advance.

Disable the filament sensor, if you haven't already and see if it happens again.

What swiss_cheese said. I had this happen with a slightly misadjusted filament sensor. Went away after reseating it.

Threads left behind from filament changes

You'd be surprised at how much powder, little bits of fluff and string and bits of support material (that shit gets everywhere) can build up inside of your filament sensor.
