Should fan blow through sink?

Hi, should you feel air blowing when you place a hand near the right side of the heat sink of the exstruder, when the fan is on? I don't feel any exiting air and am concerned that my fan is too slow.

Upgrade to R3 parts and maybe you'll feel it then.

Anyhow, if you're not getting jams, it's not a problem.

Yes the extruder fan blows air thru the extruder heat sink. My MK3 has the grid on the exit side and the amount of air flow is hard to feel by holding your hand near the side exit port. The newer extruder housing without the exit grid and extra venturi port is nearly the same by feel.
