Sanity check. Which printer do I have

I bought the i3 mk3 and updated it to the mmu2. But it's been a while since I printed something and I'm beginning to doubt my sanity. Did I upgrade to MK3s when I upgraded to mmu2? I ask because my printer just told me I had MK3 firmware on the MK3s but I'm not sure that's right.

How can I tell which version I have by looking?

That message means it detected an IR sensor instead of the expected MK3 laser sensor - so yes, you have a MK3S.

What's weird is that I was printing yesterday on the mk3 firmware without any errors.

Look at your extruder. Chimney design -> MK3s+MMU2s. For more pictures, you can look in the manual. You can find the older and most recent ones online.

I'm afraid I'm still confused. I have this one which I upgraded when I went to the mmu2. This does have an Ir sensor but it doens't look the same as the mk3s images I see. IUs this a separate hybrid with an IR sensor but not the same as the MK3 S?

@toby-e

That's correct MK3s and MK3s+MMU2s extruder look different. You have MK3s+MMU2s version.
