Prusa i3MK3s "statistics" wrong

Hello,

I'm using a Original Prusa i3MK3S + MMU2S (lastest firmware update about 2 weeks ago). I'm printing only from SD-Card, but never from USB or octoprint.

Until end of last week, both the counters for overall print time and the filament used seemed to be reasonable. Since this week there's an error in print time since it is unlikely to print more than 1200hours on one day (counter skipped from about 7days to about 57days). Is there something I can do to correct the statistics other than factory reset?

It's not really a big deal, but it's nice to roughly record the running time and used filament.

Christian

Well documented problem.  I have not seen the cause or a fix yet.

So far it seems to happen when a print is paused for some reason; it'll clock something like 1100 hours of print time. PR is aware of it through their github.

It will still be wrong, even after a reset.

What would be nice is a way to set the total time (after they developers get the issue fixed).  At least we'd have alive point to estimate "Time for oil change" or "Time for new bearings."  As it is I have to add up spools I have used up plus an estimate of partially depleted spools in inventory.  I'd like to do that once and then depend on the printer to keep track (including through a firmware flash and factory clear all reset).  But since the firmware is prone to writing anywhere in flash (which is what corrupts the number in the first place), even trying to keep a byte "protected" is an unreasonable expectation.
