Pronterface on Linux?
Hi guys,
according to this article, the Pronterface software is part of Prusa software package. I am an Arch Linux user and used the one from the official repositories as well as the appimage from downloaded directly from the Prusa website. Both of them don't seem to contain Pronterface. Did I do something wrong? Or is the article out of date? Or is this a windows-only thing?
I also had a look on the non-Prusa version of Pronterface from the AUR, but that piece of software seems to be an outdated mess. So it would be great, if someone can help me.

My bad. If I use the git version, everything is fine.

Look to see if the printrun package is available in your repositories. I'm on debian and it is available for install from the main package repository:

Is this what you guys need for Arch? Looks like it's still based on Python 2, but saw updates in 2019:

So i need to install pronterface (printrun) separatly from PrusaSlicer ? I was thinking it was included in the PrusaSlicer package.
Anyway, how do you use it ? You generate Gcode from PrusaSlicer and open it in pronterface or you can launch pronterface directly from PrusaSlicer ?

The only thing I used pronterface for was the terminal interface to the printer and firmware upgrades. I can do both with OctoPrint now much more easily.
