Hi,
recently I have randon print fails due to power issues, the PSU suddenly starts to stutter likehaving a loose contact, the print stops, the printer goes off and back on. I had the feeling that wiggling at the power cable had an effect but I am not so sure. Pretty hard to reproduce this.
I dismounted the PSU from the frame now, to see if the vibration while the print could cause this.
This already is the second PSU (black) the first silver one died pretty soon after I got the printer.
Someone with a similar problem?
Check you fork connectors and terminal screws to make sure they are tight and the power panic is tightly connected.

I would also check all power lines on the PSU and the Einsy for corrosion and loose contacts and check the output voltage of the PSU.
Nominal voltage = 24V.
Yes thanks, I did already check these, except for the voltage test. I did a 6h print yesterday and it stopped at about 4 1/2 so it is pretty difficult to reproduce the problem. Currently printing again with dismounted PSU. Shouldn´t the printer allow me to resume the print? There is no power fail in the stats log once the printer restarted.
@mtom
Does the printer perform a reset or does it lose power and restart completely?
Electrostatic discharges can often reset the printer, which means that printing cannot continue.
I´d say it loses power and restarts. Hard to say as it isn´t happening on demand. :-/

The only thing I can think of because of the little information is:
- Check voltage during operation
- Check fuses and contacts
If you do not find anything there, I would turn to the Prusachat.
Maybe you will find a hint here:
