One of the Z Stepper Motors Not Working....?

Hey whats up. I have the i3 MK3, and have printed many parts in the past without too many issues. I just brought the printer home (haven't used it in a while) and tried to print a small piece and the Z stepper motor (left) doesn't rotate at all. Even when turn the printer off, I can freely rotate the threaded rod on the right hand side, but not the left. I have not changed any software or hardware from when it was last used, and I don't understand why the stepper motor just doesn't turn. I don't think it has anything to do with software, because the motor should be able to turn freely without any current running through it (just like the stepper on the right).

Check the dust cap (black cone piece) at the bottom of the rod. If it got bumped or something fell on it it might be binding against the stepper housing

I had a similar issue not long ago (printed fine for a while, then one z motor stopped working) and it turned out to be a bad connector on one of the z-axis motors.
