Nozzle drives into build plate really hard.
When the printer starts bed leveling at the beginning of the print it drives the nozzle into the build plate really hard then this message pops up. Afterwards it does not do anything. Just sits there. The nozzle is clear of debris.

The red light on the Pinda is on. If I put a pair of metal wire cutters under the probe it turns off. The light is constantly on otherwise. It does not flicker if I wiggle the wires or move the extruder. If I go to settings: move axis: it moves in the Y and Z axis but not the X axis. It will move to the east until end stop but only a few centimeters to the west. It is stuck at the right (east) side of the build plate. Any ideas?

Hi Skelator,

Is the Pinda hanging in free space to the right hand side of your build plate when this problem happens?

if this is the case the Pinda cannot sense the build plate because it has missed the build plate.

you need to look to see why the pinda has missed the build plate.

chances are that something has prevented the extruder from homing properly to the left hand side of the X axis, when the printer started it's mesh bed levelling.

are there any obstructions?  if there are, please correct them.

does the printer X axis assembly slide smoothly from side to side?

Did you lubricate the linear bearings during assemble?

If not, now might be a good time to do some maintenance, and Lubricate the smooth rods...
