My EINSY RAMBo PINDA Port stopped working 🙁

I posted earlier this week but I wanted to be extra sure before going on the forums again, so here it goes:

Last week I was printing on my MK3 as I normally do and I had finished a print with no issues (never had issues for 1+ years). Afterwards, I wanted to start another print and during Z calibration it failed (kept trying to trip the sensor). At first I thought it was the sensor, so I bought another one which at first, thought it came defective because at first, it worked intermittently. So, I ended up requesting a replacement, and buying another one from another site.

At this point, 4 PINDA probes, ALL of them which exhibit the same issue: Sensor lights up, LED trips on close-by metals, but EINSY RAMBo does not detect this change)

I've attached pictures. Third picture I am tripping the sensor with some metal tweezers, and as shown on sensor info, no change of state.

I really need to start printing some prototyping stuff for a work project and REALLY need to know if I'm even capable of getting a warranty replacement. If not, would this board work as good? (Would love to get one with the brown PCB)

I am running the latest firmware by the way. Thank you all in advance, and happy thanksgiving.

Your first stop should be Support.

Click Eshop above, log in, then click the Chat button.

They can address your warranty questions as well as help debug.

I have the exact same issue and it’s driving me mad. How did you fix this?

the exact same issue

Really?  Four PINDAs?

If, by any chance, you have not gone through quite the same experience you might begin by checking all the electrical connections.

However if you have, then, for support: Log into your Eshop account, navigate to Help and live chat is at bottom right in most browsers. If not you may need to disable your ad-blocker temporarily.

Cheerio,
