MK3 Rattle and Squeaking

Hello everyone,

My MK3 kit is working well, but I get a rattle and squeaking sound coming from the back of the bed (I think.. maybe the PSU?). Made a short video of it. It seems to get worse the higher the Z Axis is, but the sound definitely doesn't seem to be coming from the Z axis itself. I have the printer sitting on a concrete slab, which is sitting on a thin foam mat on my table. Anyone have any ideas? Prints don't seem to be affected, but at the same time this is my first printer, so I probably wouldn't know if they were. Tried my best to capture it on video. Disregard my dogs collar about half way through 😀

And with my last print I got these horizontal lines. Connected somehow? This is the tallest print I have ever made.

one thought - reach under the bed and see if you can wiggle the U-bolts that secure the bearings.

sorry, I didn't watch/listen to the video because most times trying to diagnose this way is pretty tough to impossible to do.

that's a really nice print : )

Good idea, I will give that a try and see what I come up with. Thanks for the tip 🙂
