Mk3 Issues - Stuck on boot screen and control knob unresponsive.

I bought a 2nd hand Mk3 this weekend.  Only had chance to check it over today and it's got some issues I'm hoping are relatively simple to solve.  Looking for advice if possible.

The printer wont boot past the initial screen without an SD card in it seems.  When it does get past it then the screen shows the current and target temps as zero!  If I try and use the control know nothing works, I cannot view any menus.

I've done a factory reset which didn't change anything although the control knob works in those menus so it's functional it seems.

Okay so I tried to update the FW to the latest 3.10 with no change.  I then tried 3.9.3 for MK3 and it worked, the printer is looking to do first run and I can access the menus.  However it reported MK3 firmware on a MK3S.  There's no upgrades yet. I do intend to upgrade it to a MK3S/+

Is there any known issues with 3.10?

RE: Same issue

Had the exact same issue and was "solved" the same way. Printer has been running fine for 2-3 years but now when I switched to 0.6 nozzle (updated nozzle on printer) and started my first print with it. As soon as it started printer rebooted and after that got stuck just displaying the boot text. Restarting, unplugging it for minutes, reuploading 3.10 firmware doesnt fix it. Display updates fine during flashing firmware. Switching to 3.9.3 solves it.

Which model do you have?

Search on your hardware what model you have. Make pictures and what pinda you have. what said the firmware the first time you started? The filament sensor could be different.

And only put the the good model firmware on it.

If you go to a to new firmware you will get errors.
