MINTEMP error after just one week.

HI

i got the mk3 kit working just fine. but after a week of printing i get the MINTEMP error from the hot end thermistor.
i switched the ports with the bed and indeed the MINTEMP error switched to the bed. i took all the cable out of the assembly and couldnt see any visual problem. my conclusion: bad thermistor out of the box.
immediately this questions raised:
1) am i entitled for a new thermistor from prusa?
2) how do i contact prusa?? is the INFO mail the only way? forum support is nice and all but how to you get to the manufacturer?
3) i know i can order this ( https://e3d-online.com/thermistor-cartridge ) from e3d but i dont understand how to connect it to the long cable. do i have to cut and soldier? really dont know or want to do that.

Hi Doron,

have a word on Chat, in the eShop page.

Prusa have chosen not to use the plug and socket in the thermistor cable because it gave reliability problems.
if you order a replacement from prusa, it will come ready soldered to a long cable.

if you get a replacement from e3d you will need a soldering iron, solder (flux cored), cutters, heat shrink tubing in order to re connect it. however if you can't find the problem, it's likely that the conductors have broken inside the insulation somewhere...

Log on to the shop and it will turn up lower right bottom if i remember correctly.
