Major X Axis layer shift at the exact same layer of different models!

I'm having a issue that's plaguing my i3 MK3. I'm having random and severe X Axis layer shifts at the exact same layer of *any*model. Here's two halves of this mask. As you can see, they both layer shifted at the exact same place on the X Axis. I sliced these with Slic3r 1.41.2 Prusa Edition. I checked the gcode files for the layer shift and it doesn't exist. I'm running firmware 3.5.1-1778. I'm wasting so much time and filament on this problem...

belt tension? hear it slipping teeth? printing from sd or tethered? stealth mode or normal? any curious items popping up in your fail stats?

The belt tension was questionable. I tightened it up. However, I find it super odd that it fails on the exact same layer.

Printing from SD.

Normal mode.

The fail stats show no failures.

After tightening the belt, it did it again, this time much earlier in the print and the shift was far less extreme. I tried attaching the gcode as well, but the forum software wont let me do it.

The machine won't detect a crash if the pulley slips, so that's where I'd concentrate, but generally you wouldn't expect that to recur in the same part of a job...

Verify your X Axis pulley (motor side) is fixed to a flat on the motor shaft, and is free from slop axially or radially, and that your belts (X specifically) should be noticeably stiff but not outrageously tight...

For a quick re-test, determine the height of the failure and print a tall slender object that's a bit taller than your problem height, like a chess piece or something.

I can get this on mine when printing almost full width of the plate in the X direction. I have found the X axis bearings start to catch, not sure why. Then it will crash detect and the X axis will layer shift. Always at about the same height.
So far i have no solution. It is something to do with the rods/bearings. The 2 X axis rods mau be slightly non parallel.
