Hi all,

I have the MK3 printer for the past month, and I love it.

I just have done my first 2 color print and had this strange "message" on the LCD when needed to replace the filament.

As I don't speak this language, so I just clicked on the button to continue. Lucky for me, it then continued to eject the current filament, and ask to place the new one.

The firmware version I have is original that came with the unit:

Is this a bug in the code?

Thank you,

Roye Avidor

Two possibilities.

1) Your Einsy (or LCD) is bad and needs to be replaced.

2) The firmware has a bad data field and needs to be refreshed.

Since the second option is free, I would start with that.

Flash the latest firmware specific to your model. You currently have 3.81 for the MK3. Download and Flash it again...

Specify clear storage as part of the process.

You will have to run through setup and calibration again, but that is still cheaper than throwing parts at it.

Note: if your language is other than English - tell us. You may have a translation problem.
