Is there an  adapter that can sit on top with the new mk3s sensor parts (sensor ball bearing magnets) to the existing r4 mk3 extruder that does not require the reprint and disassembly of everything again?

Cheers

Why would you want to do that?  The MK3s sensor is just as trouble prone as the MK3 sensor.  Same basic firmware underneath handling the interrupt.

@tim-m30

The original mk3 optical sensor finally bought the farm so it was time to try the new mk3s physically activated sensor since it appears for better or worse that is Prusa's direction at this time.

Oh well if I have to reprint everything to use the new mk3s sensor I might as well try the BMG extruder hopefully this mod will get the print quality closer or equal to my Creality CR10.  Just have to see if I can spin the bottom of the BMG extruder 90 degrees so I can use a petsfang
