Incorrect X Axis Length

I am at a loss trying to diagnose an incorrect X axis length error.

I have:

-Taking the entire extruder apart

-Adjusted the belt twice

-Adjusted the X axis motor mount

-Loosened the X carriage mounting bracket screws

-Checked that the pulley by the PSU was rotating freely/not to tight

-Ensured none of the zip ties or wires are hitting the frame

When running the calibration wizard, the X axis reverses course about 1/2" before hitting the ends of the axis.

Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated.

Update;

After continuing to fiddle fart around, it finally passed. I'm not exactly sure what the issue was or what I did to fix it.

I'll blame it on gremlins. Thanks to anyone who took the time to view this thread.

Generally - 99.9% of the time, it is obstructions at the cable / rat-tail coming out the back of the extruder. The other 98% is dry bearings: with the extruder stopping before it hits the right bracket a clue for #2.
