Re temperature test: you physically measured the temperature of the board at multiple spots and found little or no deviation?

If the board is fairly flat as determined by a straight edge and your temperatures are good and the board is clean, I can only guess one thing. The X and Y axis are off such that the combined error at that corner is causing the problem.  What stumps me is why the bed leveling calibration is not adjusting for it.

Agreed. It's just the far right column too. And it is almost as if the pinda ignores any change I make in that last column.

I've checked and the pinda is working across the entire bed.

It weird

We have four MK3S and at least two of them with similar strange issues. I'll try to make some pictures tomorrow. Correcting the bed level with pices of paper already help a lot, but i guess the algorithm behind the bed leveling is causing all this trouble somehow. It seems to make things even worse, from time to time.

@jvoelker

Thx for sharing. If like to see if you're issues are similar.

I've spent hours on chat with support and they think it is strange too, with no solution.

Mine is very strange, I can level the bed except for the far right column.

I think it is a firmware issue

Flip the plate over to see if the leveling error is attached to it, i.e. Does the error move?

Cables free and loose?

Have you physically measured an error in height, or just looking at printed results? Could be a motor/screw/drive nut issue..

@warren-l

Flipping the plate, problem stays in the same place.

Nothing is loose, I've checked everything is tight and in place. I've even taken apart parts and reseated them to ensure it.

I've done several different PINDA tests and watched the PINDA respond as it moves around the bed.

I don't think it is a motor/screw/drive issue because it is only impacting that one part of the bed, and if I make physical or software changes, the issue remains.  I'm able to make bed level corrections to other parts of the bed, just not the right side far most column.

It is almost as if the PINDA sees a different height on that last right column, or there is a firmware issue.

Swapping the z axis motor cables should reveal a software issue..

Issue finally resolved.

I just finished an upgraded to Mk3S and MMU2S. During the Z-Calibration process, I noticed that the PRUSA printed parts at the top of the Z axis were not stable, meaning they were no longer firm.  The screws were tight, but the part still gave way with some flex.

So, during the Z-calibration, I put even pressure, pressing down, on the top of those parts when the carriage reached the top.

My Z-calibration is now even across with no bed level correction.

This is the problem with printed parts on sections of the printer that may impact the calibration.  Those parts, and others like motor holders, carriage holders and a few others should be metal, not plastic. (in my humble opinion).
