Hotend for Prusa i3 MK3

I need a new hotend assembly for my mk3. I can only see one for the mk3s. Can someone point me in the right direction to buy a new one? I had a very bad fail that melted to cords.

RE: Hotend for Prusa i3 MK3

Define what you mean by hotend.  The hotend used on the MK3 and MK3s is the E3d V6 with a slightly modified heatbreak done especially for Prusa by E3d,  The plastic housings on a Mk3 and Mk3s are different as they have different filament sensors and that change means the ptfe tube that goes into the hotend below the filament drive gears is a slightly different length but all the heatsink, heatblock, heatbreak, thermistor and heater cartridge are identical.

There are wires that connect the thermistor and heater cartridge to the main electronics, is that what you mean by chord ?  Those components can also be bought separately, although make sure you get the correct voltage version for the Mk3, as the mk3 series are 24v and earlier ones are 12v iirc.

If you're in the US, you can get hotend parts from Filastruder and PrintedSolid.
