[Help][PrusaSlicer] Any setting so support print over brim?

I'v google the issue and found some other ppl looking for solution for that same probleme, but i did'nt find any with an awnser.

I would really prefer not having to use Cura...

Picture is worth a thousand word :

Its easy to make a single layer, just add a modifier, and type in 0.2 (or whatever layer height you want for first layer).  I stopped adding 'mouse ears' once the modifiers became so easy to use and place in slicer.  I agree that it is harder to remove than a normal brim but it not that much harder and the part stays down on the bed so win in my book 🙂

It's a Slic3r shortcoming.   I have a bug report in over the issue; asking for the ability to set the support layer 1 base to 100% as a work-around.  The devs are ignoring it.

Have you tried playing around with raft settings. Not ideal I know, but you might be able to find a setting that allows the print to come out good.

Figures don't turn out well with rafting. At least I've never found a method that works to actually hold the part solid to the raft.  I have though resorted to placing a manual brim on the part before printing ... I have used MeshMixer for this; but with Plicer a block could be created below the figure and used as a brim, too, just a bit more difficult to make 1 layer, and harder to remove than a real brim.

Modifier seem the best idea for a "fake" brim.

I've been able to add a Part to kinda do it, but i'm not sure how you do it with a Modifier and typing 0.2...

I had to fiddle with the part quite a bit to place it on the Z of the bed...

Create a part - not a modifier. Set the x and y dimensions as needed, rotate to best fit your part footprint, and set Z (height to 0.2 mm).   Plicer should weld it to your original part.   You'll need to enable support everywhere.

To place a part you have to download one of the mouse ears type parts which is what I used to do.  With the new SlicerPE though you place your part as normal, right click, select add modifier, select the type (box, slab, cylinder etc).  You can then use the part list tree on the right to set the size height to match the thickness you want on the fake brim.  You can then place it where its needed.  I've got one plate where Im using 4 cylinders of 0.2 height in the corners to tack those down and stop some curling issues I had with the part.
