Heater Cartridge Connector

I am replacing a defective heater cartridge.  The replacement sent by Prusa lacked the quick-connector. I am unable to unscrew the two screws that held in the old wires. What is the term for this quick connector? How may I obtain a new connector?

It is a 5.08mm Pitch 2P Pluggable Terminal Block Connector

These aftermarket ones work despite the green color

@guy-k2

Many thanks for your advice; just ordered the connectors.

Any advice on heater cartridges sold by Amazon?

RE: Heater Cartridge Connector

Hi Dweitz,

Some would say that there is no guarantee of the quality of the Amazon heaters...

that's a decision for you...   I have used Ebay heaters, and still have a house that hasn't burned down and printers that still work...   🙂

I understand that you have a Mk3 or Mk3S printer...
that is a 24 volt printer...
MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET 24 Volt heaters!!!
the Prusa Mk3/Mk3s uses a 40Watt 24 volt heater...

IF you get the 12 volt heater, it will try to use 4 times the power that it's supposed to use... and if you are lucky, the Einsy heater fuse will blow, and disconnect the power before anything more serious happens....  !

Take care!

regards Joan
