Hardware troubleshooting LCD screen

Hi all,

Turned my i3 mk3s this morning and the LCD is only displaying the top left quarter, on start up I get boxes and lines on the rest of the screen, then it disappeared, now its flickering. I powered down pulled the cables out at both ends and reconnected them to make sure they hadn't come loose and still seeing the same symptoms. Attached are images. Anyone have any ideas what to try next? Not sure if its the cables, the screen, or the board. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

You can try to flash the latest firmware and possibly do a factory reset. You have already checked the ribbon cables? Also watch out for electrostatic charges. If nothing helps, you will probably need to replace the LCD board. There are some sources of a replacement on the net.

Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.

Thank you for the help! Yes I already checked the ribbon cables, but will try a factory reset!

My warranty expired 2 weeks ago so it's probably the LCD board 🙃 Will start looking for replacements just in case
