Fully blocked heating block

Hey guys, so in my efforts to fix an extrusion problem, I've now made it worse. I think when I attempted a cold pull some PLA snapped off into the heating block. I've got a guitar string but I've been unable to pass whatever the blockage is. I've tried heating the hot end up as high at 270 but still no dice. Am I going to have to pull this thing fully apart? Looking for options before I throw a full day at it.

Hi Mike,
try heating the hot end as high as you dare,
unscrewing the nozzle whilst holding the heat block still
opening the bondtech pressure roller window to ensure there is no resistance,,
and then try manually pressing the waste filament through from the top of the extruder and out of the bottom, to clear the path, using a new piece of filament

Thanks for the reply Joan. I had to go hardcore with it and drill the blockage, there was no moving it with filament, it was like a stone. Not a fun repair but filament appears to be going through for now.

For anyone that needs to go this extreme, here's what I did:

* Removed front of extruder assembly
* Clipped the zapstraps holding the wires to the hotend to allow for free movement
* Pulled the heatblock/heatsink/hotend assembly out
* Took hotend off to check for blockage
* Took heatsink off (Jam was located dead centre)
* Tried pushing filament through either end, blockage wouldnt budge
* Got a tiny drill bit and drilled the blockage
* Took a few rounds of drill, poke, blow to get the blockage clear
* Visually inspected and pushed filament through manually
* Put it all back together.
* Recalibrate (In progress as I type this)

See the bloackage?

Grey lump of PLA was the culprit

Filament goes through clean
