First layer consistently clogs when printing
After many successful prints with PETG, my first layers are now starting to clog whenever I print anything. The layer clogs up, wraps on, and gets stuck on the nozzle after a few minutes. Could the problem be bed adhesion? I have been able to use Glue successfully before (not using right now because cleanup takes more time), but it's the first time I am using painters tape. If adhesion is the problem, is using Glue the only way of doing it correctly?
Nozzle temperatures with PETG is 245 and Bed is 85.
RE: First layer consistently clogs when printing
Clean bed with dish soap, nothing else is needed.
Make your first layer 100%,how to:
Extra normally not needed:
First layer slow down to 10 mm.
First layer make it hotter 5 or 10 C.
Check filament, do a manual extrude in the air, so you can see if filament comes out in a straight line, without bubbles.
