firmware 3.10 error

RE: firmware 3.10 error

Looks like I'm having the same exact issue. I updated firmware, it went ok. Then left printer working. Got to it next day and print had completed, but it was showing the "boot screen". Tried to reset and power down, but it didin't help. Going back to 3.9.3 firmware fixed issue for me. Tried to redownload and flash again new 3.10 and my printer immeadiately froze into "boot screen".

Odd..

Firmware I tried to use was

prusa3d_fw_MK3_3_10_0_4481.hex

SHA-1 Checksum of it was: 0969AFCFE02DAFFB15B3087881C0EB644A78C11A

RE:

Make sure you are using the correct version for your printers.  There are both versions for the MK3 and the MK3S and MK3S+.  For example the one pw mentions installing wont work on a MK3S or S+ as its designed for the older original MK3.

Also I notice the latest version is prusa3d_fw_MK3_3_10_1_4697.hex

RE: firmware 3.10 error

Hi everyone, just wanted to leave the fix that worked for me. Prusa support suggested:

  • Flash with everything but LCD and power disconnected.
  • Triple check the version of FW
  • Disconnect the power cable from PSU (the external one from power socket) and power cycle the PSU with the button a few times to discharge capacitors
After disconnecting  all cables except LCD and power , I reflashed with:prusa3d_fw_3_10_1_MK3S.hex and was able to continue as normal.
My Mk3s+ now works as expected.
