Err: Mintemp FIRMWARE FIX

After talking to Marc on the chat he directed me towards a fix another member used but it the member didn't exactly explain how to do it he just posted that he did it.

Step 1: Make sure your issue is actually a short and not just a broken thermistor.. The first thing you should do is swap the thermistor ports. If the opposite Mintemp error pops up your thermistor is broken and that's an easy fix, just buy a new one. If you are still getting the same error you shorted the Port (like me). Chances are if you shorted the port you also shorted the thermistor.

Step 2: Follow this to step 12, DO NOT DO STEP 13: https://e3d-online.dozuki.com/Guide/Prusa+i3+MK3+Firmware+Modifications/141

Step 3: Now this will be in 3 places, if you know which board you have you only need to replace it in one place, but since I don't, I just changed it in all 3. Go to Edit>Find>Select "Search all Sketch Tabs">If you shorted your bed pin search "TEMP_BED_PIN" and replace the 2 with a 1, if you shorted your Hotend pin search "TEMP_0_PIN" and replace the 0 with a 1. Press Upload

Step 4: Plug the thermistor into the middle pin

Step 5: Run the temperature calibration to make sure everything is all good.

Excluding controller faults...
Mintemp is an OPEN circuit or high resistance,
MAXTEMP is a short of low resistance!
