Crushed print

I'm running into troubles with my new MK3. I was able to print out two models, which came out well, but I am having trouble with the third.  It gets through the first few layers, but then after that the printer head seems to be riding on top of the PLA (bump, bump, bump) and the print looks crushed. After a few more layers it eventually gives up with a X or Y crash.   (See picture, if I managed to attach it correctly)Failed print The 1st layer z calibration looks right. It is just the next layers.

I processed the model with the PrusaSlicer.  I don't really know what I'm doing with this software or printer, so perhaps I have done something silly. I was wondering if I have the nozzle diameter wrong or something. I think 0.4 is right...

Anyway, you can see how the layers are crushed:

I forgot to add that the room is pretty cold, 60 degrees F.

@iollmann

Welcome to the group!

the standard nozzle is 0.4mm on all of the prusa's
have you loaded the prusa slicer defaults for a Prusa Mk3 with o.4mm nozzle,

If you can save the Project file as a .3mf file, then Zip the file, you can attach it to a post, and let us look at your setup. then we may be  able to help more,

also can you give us a Photo of the first layer, on your next Print please

regards Joan

I switched to a different computer and reinstalled the slicer. This one downloaded the update for MK3S+. The same model sliced on that computer seems to be working as intended.
