Creaking Bearings, Grooves Forming on X-Axis Rods

Hello,

Recently started getting a creaking when the extruder was moving on the X axis. Examined the top rod and noticed the grooves pictured below.

Figured I would replace the X-axis bearings and rods with parts purchased from prusa's eshop. Before Replacing the bearings I applied Super Lube multipurpose synthetic grease to all the bearing ball tracks with a q-tip running it up and down rolling the balls to attempt to coat everything.

After getting it back together, 2 days later I am having the same issue on the new bearings and rods. Creaking from the bearings and grooves starting to form on the top rod.

Any direction on what I may be doing wrong? Is there a better procedure I should be taking to grease the bearings? Specific grease/oil I should be using?

Was going to go ahead and replace the rod and bearings again but didn't want to be in the same boat in 2 days.

I have this printer running close to 24/7. I regularly oil all the rods with Super Lube Multi-Purpose synthetic oil. Thanks!

You should not apply the grease, for example LM47, to the rods, instead fill the bearings with about a third of it. There are also better bearings and rods, e.g. by Misumi. Oil is not recommend for this application because it has to be oiled more often.
