Crash detected and kept printing

Came back to find this. Said 'crash detected continue yes or no'. Well it seems a little late to finally stop printing. Should I put in oven and try to melt PLA before the ABS fails?

otherwise it seems like I'm going to need a whole new print head.

It looks like you disassembled things before trying to remove the blob.

I've had a couple of smaller blobs and in all cases I've been able to get them to release by heating the nozzle (and thus the heat block) to maybe PETg temperature for PLA and letting it sit for a while.

I would try, one way or another (reconnect it or use a bench supply) using the heat block heater instead of an oven or other heat source.

@jsw

I took the whole head off the machine to be able to see the extent of the damage. I tried prying it out, but it never moved. I told it to unload and set it to PVC, or something, that was 275° and let it sit there for a few minutes before I was able to pull it off piece by piece.
