Clicking and under-extrusion, no clog

Since the past week, I have noticed when I print, the extruder clicks, and fails to extrude at least once every hour or so, and I quickly hit pause when I hear it click, unload, and reload the filament, and then I can continue. When this click/jam occurs, I can actually hand-extrude just very easily if I loosen the idler. So I am 100% certain there is no clog.

The extruder motor is boiling hot, too hot to touch. I have also removed my MMU2s to rule that out as-well.

I have tried different PLA materials, printing at 210 to 220, different idler tensions, slowing down, speeding up, nylon cold pulls between prints ( always clean, I can see through the hole extruder ). Also done complete tear-down of the extruder and everything looked perfect.

Could this be that the extruder motor is overheating and losing torque? Because as I said, I can hand-extrude very easily.

Picture of the pulled filament, if it's get bigger, then it' s not good, Prusa' s extruder gets wider, so if filaments melts there, then it gets to hot.

In the forum you find more users with same problem and solutions.

It is possible that with pla , heat from extruder motors gets to the filament through the gears.

Are you using an Enclosure kit?
