Can't print after removing MMU2

So after about six months of tinkering and troubleshooting with no success, I decided to remove the MMU2 from my MK3S. I simply removed the unit and the corresponding cables from the RAMBo box and then flashed with the latest firmware. Now when I go to print the MK3S does its 9 point calibration and then looks like it will do the brim to prime the nozzle along the front edge but then it lifts up, moves to the bottom right corner and beeps at me with a message to remove the filament. It does not matter if I am printing via USB or SD card and the file does not change the outcome. I am desperate to print some PPE facemasks but this has me dead in the water.

Did you use this firmware to flash the MK3S?

Check your filament sensor and readjust it.

Or if you're desperate, just disable the filament sensor in the config menu.

@tracy-jon-s2

Do a complete factory reset and flash the firmware again. You will then need to recalibrate the printer.
